I bought the DVD set quite a long time ago but never got beyond the first two discs or so. I've been meaning to finish the anime but never got around to it. I have read the ending of the manga, though, and as far as I can tell, the two follow each other pretty faithfully, at least plot-wise.

So now in my spare time between classes or when I'm getting ready in the mornings I watch Rurouni Kenshin and it's been fun. Although incredibly cheesy and ridiculous at times, I quite like the overall story and I'm such a Kenshin fangirl it's not even funny.
