It's been a while.

Quite a while.

In my defense, I've been quite busy.

Moving to New Orleans and getting settled here has been quite the adventure, and if I could be bothered to dig through my photos, I could probably find a few pictures worth uploading here of my lovely campus. Tulane is gorgeous and New Orleans is just pretty darn cool.

Along with the big distance and environment change, I've been trying to clear up a few personal issues; they've been a bit of a mood damper which keeps me from being very artistic, sadly.

I can't say I'll be able to comment and stalk as much as I used to, but I'll try to do more than I have been.

I'll upload drawings and graphical bits whenever I do them though :)

I'm bored so I thought it would be fun to go through the bookmarks on my Vaio and see what I've got...

first up: GDA Facebook Defense Database
for a Facebook application I play, Pet Dragons....don't ask unless you're really interested

Cakewrecks [link]
"When professional cakes go horribly, hilariously wrong." I love this site.

Order of the Rose Defense Database
ditto number one

Musical Review of Hotel Dusk [link]
I laughed so hard when I first heard this.

Arona Casual [link]
It's in Japanese. It's a clothing store. I have no idea why this is bookmarked.

Microsoft Outlook Web Access
It links to my Tulane email account.

Creatures from El [link]
I actually first found this artist on DA. She makes sculptures of dragons and other creatures that are beyond beautiful.

texts from last night [link]
People send in weird text messages that they probably shouldn't have sent...or received, whatever the case.

PD2- Order of the (Desert) Rose
still for Pet Dragons...move along

A Triangle Morning [link]
for the weirdest "choose your own adventure" game you will ever play. Ever.

Outside the Classroom: AlcoholEdu for College
I had to do this. It's not exciting.

Things I've Learned From Wikipedia [link]
interesting. And actually educational.

EpiCute [link]
The most effing adorable food ever.

Apartment Therapy [link]
for when I get my own place. Or even for dorm ideas. You never know.

TasteSpotting [link]

CakeSpy [link]
moar pretty food, with cute illustrations

The Pioneer Woman [link]
Everything from food to Photoshop discussions. I love the Photoshop discussions. Also, some beautiful photography, especially the pictures of mustangs!

Yes, I'm still alive...it's been a while since my last journal O_O

Prom was a blast- loud, chaotic, and I didn't get to sleep until about 4 in the morning, but it was great. My dress was very pretty (it was purple and floor-length and I had to wear great big heels so it wouldn't drag!) and I managed not to spill anything on it or otherwise ruin it! :)

I can't remember if I mentioned this or not, but I AM going to Tulane fo sho'. So if any of you are in New Orleans anytime within the next four years please drop by and say hello :)

Graduation was somewhat scary, yet very exciting. I have my diploma in all of its glory and I am officially a graduate. No more getting up at 5:40 am every weekday! Woohoo! I won't mention our awful graduation robes though. Ugh.

Summer has been pretty lax so far except for my trip to Japan which was one week of madness and hysteria and uber fun :) I spent a few days in Tokyo, three days in Kyoto, and took a day trip to Mishima for my friend's birthday. Somehow I managed to come back alive and in one piece and with a lot less money, despite the fact that I really don't know any Japanese at all. If you all want to know more/see my pictures (for those of you who aren't on my Facebook friends list) just holler in the comments and I shall oblige.

I am excited at the moment because tomorrow Nickelback is in town so I am going to their concert! Unfortunately the venue is outside and I am somewhat worried that it might rain, which would be sad. Very sad.

I am terribly sorry for neglecting you all for so long, but there has been some drama and such in my life and as such I have been just way too lazy to keep up with the masses of incoming deviations and journals. I'll try to get back into reading those...I feel bad if I don't. I haven't been making much art lately, although I have been writing some. Go hunt me down at fanfiction.net and leave me a review if you are curious.

I shall try to update moar...soon.

I've been sort of taking a break from DA simply because I haven't been feeling all that artistic or whatever so I haven't felt like dealing with the fifty million things in my inbox.

Sorry.

Stuff's been going on.

Prom's in less than a month, yo. Gotta get ready XD

I haven't bothered you all with a random journal for a while, so I feel somewhat like I'm failing in a duty XD

My inbox is kinda full, but I don't feel like going through it at the moment :P Tough luck.

Anyways, I've been keeping myself more or less busy over the past couple of weeks or so.

But it's finally March, which is probably good. March is a good month.

I'm doing pretty well in all of my classes, and I actually feel like I'm learning stuff in two of them (Latin IV and Math Analysis). I'm really enjoying Latin IV; we're reading the Aeneid in all its original Latin-y glory, and it's proving to be interesting. Latin poetry is somewhat mindblowing, but it gives me a workout, and it should improve my Latin, at the very least.

Speaking of which, I'm taking the National Latin exam in a week or two. Wish me luck! I'm sure I will do awful on it, but it can't hurt to take it XD I also took the American Math Competition exam this past week...that wasn't much fun.

At this point, I'm waiting until April so that I can go see Tulane and make up my mind about where I want to go to college. *sighs*

I really want to graduate D:
